Case studies:

Comcast

Comcast hosted a meeting for its West Division Leaders in February. After a large restructuring process the new leaders of 5 regions needed to come together to get to know each other and align their strategy. The 2 day meeting covered a wide range of topics and the weave provided a focal point which attendees could use to discover more about their colleagues and their understanding of the corporations priorities.

The Weave helped build the pillars of relationship. It uncovered the real person and opened up conversation at our meeting.

BCD Meetings & Incentives

A travel-management company and a meeting/incentives company merged to create a global travel firm. Upon the merger, executives decided to meet with their newly created leadership team, members of which represented the two legacy companies.  The goal of the meeting was to introduce leaders to one another and create a shared vision.

Result
Weave the People created a weave that enabled participants to share information on their areas of strength and expertise, ranging from “travel in Africa” to “group air travel”. In addition, the weave grouped people according to communication preferences, including do’s and don’ts when emailing, and personality traits, such as introvert and extrovert, and motivating vs. directing.

This company is a repeat customer:  Other weaves have clarified what is important to the firm’s meeting planners, from “challenges of tracking meeting spend” to “customer loyalty programs.” This information exchange has demystified colleagues and created a spirit of teamwork, ultimately helping to set one, unified corporate agenda.

There is no doubt in my mind that Weave The People helped us have the most successful meeting possible because people were energized and informed on each others’ passions even before the meeting began.

Scott Graf - President, BCD Meetings and Incentives
