The Next Steps

We can create your weave in four simple steps:

1. Make Contact

Call me, Paul Caswell, I'm the founder of weave the people and I love conversation. My number is 312.933.8196
or if you prefer you can email me: paul (at) weavethepeople (dot) com

I'll have some questions for you:

  • How many people are you gathering together and when is this happening?
  • What is the purpose of your event/meeting/weave?
  • Who is the coordinator/ meeting planner we should work with?

After we set up your account your company will have access to these two additional menu items:

2. Select a design for your weave

We work with you to create a unique weave for your event. This can be a simple as a 20 minute phone call to choose what information we want to include in the weave. Some example designs templates include:

  • "Getting to know you weave"
this makes introductions easier, provides a great overview for people meeting for the first time.
Visit our Event Weave Demo to see an example of this design
  • "Working together weave"
this design helps groups collaborate, making visible talents, working styles and communication preferences

3. Collect the information

Information can be collected as part of the Event registration if there is the ability to ask additional questions to populate the weave. Alternatively, we can send out one of our survey templates after registration to collect the answers.

We know you are busy getting ready for you event and we assist at every step:

  • Select what questions to ask (typically 5-9)
  • Provide a list of attendees
  • Collect the answers (event registration or survey)
Click here to see a Sample Survey for the Event Weave Demo.
  • Gather the photos
  • Enter the data (we have tools and people to help)

After this has been completed you will have access to our admin tools to view and maintain the information and photos for your people. A designated Weave Coordinator will have access to these tools, the participants have no need to access them. Detailed how-to instructions are here

4. Share your Weave

You choose when to amaze your event participants. What is the best lead time to share the weave? Just days before to maximize the buzz or maybe a week to allow time learn more about who they will be meeting? Remember if they are flying in, it is useful to have a printed list, which the weave provides, to bring with on the plane.

Your weave is ready as soon as all the information is entered and we provide a unique URL that you can email.
